Double the eights, double the Saturn energies, and double the Strength. This is what the 8-8 Lion's Gate Portal is here to support. Eight on its side is Infinity, and this reminds us that the Infinite Light is always present and supporting us when we own our purpose, our passions, and the meaning that we give to our realities. This time of year marks a significant alignment between the Sun in Leo, the Earth, the fixed star Sirius, and constellation Orion's Belt. There is an abundance of Light available for transformational growth, and available energy to manifest it through following the heart and our passions in life. This entire New Moon cycle has a theme of identity, and a connection to the heart as the North Star in our lives. The heart is meant to help guide us toward the highest expressions that we incarnated to become, and this time of year is focused on the heart space and our dreams coming to fruition. In this time of manifesting expansion, we get to narrow in on what we truly wish to grow. This Lion's Gate Portal has a window that ends on the 12th of August, but the date 8-8 has always had a spiritual significance of being the highlight of this sacred time. There is a potency of good luck, positive energy, and infinite prosperity in the ethers that we can all tap into with our open and passionate hearts.
So how do we tap into the portal and put our dreams, wishes, passions, and desires "out there" to gain support from the Universe? What we focus on, we become. This is a wonderful day to sit quietly, close the eyes, clear the mind, and listen to the heart. It is also a wonderful time to focus on the vision of yourself with all of your dreams manifested, followed by a total release of all expectations or attachments around that dream. An action that supports this process is creating a vision board with all of the pictures and words that align with your passions, dreams, and visions of the future. This is a way to communicate with the higher world, so that we can be very specific with what we bring in. Our dreams may be very vivid or active during this time, so keeping a journal next to the bed to write on when awoken at night is a wonderful way to receive messages from the higher self. A simple affirmation or mantra can be created and then repeated throughout this time in order to charge the energies around it. For example, "I am healthy, happy, and filled with joy!", or "My business is helping so many people and thriving abundantly!".
Spiritually speaking, the Sun is the representation of Light. Leo is ruled by the Sun, and the star Sirius is considered a type of Spiritual Sun due to how bright it illuminates in the night sky. The Light eclipses the darkness, so it becomes like a green light that tells us the channels are open to move forward. It becomes an amplifier to what it shines upon, and it is associated to the physical heart as well as the emotional heart. Pure Light is our connection to a Love that is unconditional. The darkness has no chance to thrive in the Light, therefore, this is also an opportunity to say goodbye to a toxic lifestyle, relationship, job, residence, friendship, or other because there is no time or energy to waste on that which will drain or even destroy the path moving forward. Transformation comes with growing pains when we resist change, so it is helpful to stay open to receive positive shifts for the highest and greatest good of all. Dreams are cultivated at night, in silence, and inside of the mind and heart. Therefore, it is a wonderful time to lay low, rest, meditate, nurture oneself, and take some time to go inward - even if just for a few minutes a day. This will support positive change, and allow space for a recalibration to take place.
