Winds of change came rolling in,
A spark turned into a whirling spin.
Flames ignited and it all burned down,
Only ashes were left in this beautiful town.
The fires are still roaring in these hills,
And the firefighters are using all of their skills.
But Mother Nature has a different plan,
Humans are not able to understand.
Outside of the chatter of negative talk,
There are true heroes who walk their walk.
Helping with courage, bravery, and strength,
Amidst the danger, they go to every length.
Out of the ashes comes the grace of Hope,
Inspired by each other's ways to cope.
Together the community is rising high,
Outside of the blame game of who and why.
All that matters is the Love we hold,
Hearts so giving and radiant like Gold.
Transformation comes in different ways,
As we stretch open into a new phase.
Hope is the ingredient that carries us through,
Providing the Light for a whole new view.
