Mudra means "To Please", and is a way to invoke the unseen forces for health and happiness. You can literally manifest your destiny with the palm of your hands. Mudras are a type of sign language to the angelic realm. Every day, hire the angels of Light and fire the angels of darkness with Mudra Therapy.
The month of February is the 2nd month of the year. Two is the number of duality and is associated with the energies of the Moon. The Moon is the planetary energy of water, the lunar rhythms, the Divine Feminine, and the receptive, intuitive, and dreamy vibration, or negative polarity. As we bring the water element into focus, we understand that it is the reflective, ever-changing principle of adaptability. There is time to give and time to receive. As we give our energies out in the ways of Love, kindness, compassion, and service, we then receive the same frequencies back in their own unique form. This mudra is the hand posture that allows the higher world to bring in the blessings that are going to benefit the highest good of all life. When we let go, we can let the Infinite Creative Life Force perform the magic that was intended to manifest for all.
How does it work? The outer sides of each hand represent the "Moon" line. The Moon is the receptive force connected to water. Water is the "Hand of God" and when we stimulate our ability to receive from the hand of the Creator, infinite possibilities become the natural flow and rhythm of manifestation. There are no such things as miracles - we simply need to allow ourselves to be grateful for the amazing potential in every moment, as "miracles" are the natural flow of our daily reality. When your hands are in this posture, you are saying, "Creator, I don't know what I want. Just bless me." You are receiving from Source and allowing the Universe to bring you infinite blessings.
How To Perform The Mudra:
1. Straighten the spine in a comfortable posture sitting, standing, or laying down.
2. Rub your hands together vigorously.
3. Gently place your hands in a receptive "bowl-shaped" posture to receive.
4. Stimulate the Moon side of the hands by allowing the pinkies and outer sides of the hands to gently touch.
5. Relax your shoulders and elongate the spine, allowing the chest to rise and the chin to gently relax in and up.
6. Allow the elbows to gently rest next to the body without force.
7. Smile, breathe, and chant any mantra with "Hari" or "Ram" in it, or practice Three Part Breath (See Below). Let go of all attachments and allow the Divine Source to bless you and your life.
3-Part Breath (Optional):
Inhale slowly into the belly, rib cage, and upper chest for a count of 20. Hold the breath and squeeze the rectum for a count of 20. Exhale from the chest, rib cage, and belly, drawing the navel in toward the spine for a count of 20. Repeat the breath for a total of 3 minutes. SMILE!
