Mudra of the Month: Mudra For Neutralizing Your Energy...

Mudra means "To Please", and is a way to invoke the unseen forces for health and happiness. You can literally manifest your destiny with the palm of your hands. Mudras are a type of sign language to the angelic realm. Every day, hire the angels of Light and fire the angels of darkness with Mudra Therapy.

The month of September is the 9th month of the year, and 9 is the number connected to the planet Mars. This is a time of intense energies, construction and destruction of our foundation, and a completion of cycles. In order to utilize the forces available to us during this powerful month, we must be centered and neutral. Reaction only fuels the fires of anger and frustration. When you feel you want to react, instead, try this mudra to neutralize your field.

This powerful mudra will help expand the aura, creating a positive force of Light while neutralizing the polarities of the being on all levels. The top of the palms represent the chest and the Astral World that is in charge of housing the seed of the Magnetic Field. The bottom of the palms connect to the entire map of the body, all of the organs, and all of the systems. Stimulating the hands activates the entire being and brings a flow of vitality throughout. The thumbs represent Mars, and the tips of the thumbs connect to our brain and our higher glands, the Pituitary and Pineal Glands. Pointing the active, Mars fingers toward the heart, we focus the forces of change and transformation towrd the heart center - the balance point of the entire being. Together, this hand yoga serves to neutralize the mind, balance the emotions, and center one into the Love of the heart and the higher energies of Light.

How To Get Into The Mudra:

1. Straighten the spine in a comfortable posture sitting, standing, or laying down.

2. Rub your hands together vigorously.

3. Bend your elbows and lift them up so they are parallel to the ground.

4. Bring your right palm on top of your left palm with both palms facing the floor.

5. Connect your thumb tips together gently in front of the heart and facing the heart, but not touching the chest.

6. Relax your shoulders down and away from your ears.

7. Smile, breathe, and hold the mudra here for 3 - 11 minutes. Chanting the healing mantra "RaMaDaSaSaSaySoHung" or breathing a 3-Point Breath (See Below) is wonderful to do while holding any mudra.

We utilize this mudra when we need to neutralize the mind. There is a calming peace that we feel in meditation with this hand posture that is soothing and centering. It is wonderful to apply this to your life and/or your meditation practice when you are desiring to be calm and neutral. Chant or breathe deeply with this neutralizing mudra to come back to your center and activate the higher parts of the brain in order to resolve inner conflict and bring Peace and Love to the entire being and to one's life circumstances.

3-Point Breath (Optional):

Inhale for a count of 20, Hold the breath for a count of 20, Exhale for a count of 20. Repeat this breath for 3 - 11 minutes to calm the mind and bring balance to the brain.
