Mudra of the Month: Dhyana Mudra for Inner Strength & Peace...

Mudra means "To Please", and is a way to invoke the unseen forces for health and happiness. You can literally manifest your destiny with the palm of your hands. Mudras are a type of sign language to the angelic realm. Every day, hire the angels of Light and fire the angels of darkness with Mudra Therapy.

August is the 8th month of the year, and eight aligns with the planetary influence of Saturn. Saturn is the Divine Mother who teaches us how to deepen our relationship to our Higher Self. She supports us in enlivening our connection to the Great Spirit and our highest path of Divine Love. This month we highlight this particular mudra to help keep us manifest a deeper sense of strength and Faith on the inside. This is a hand posture that helps to activate the dormant "prana" or life force energy that charges the spirit and enlivens the powers inside that attune to Divinity. It also attunes one to the energy in the space, as the inner world is the cosmic reflection of the outer reality.

The Buddha has been depicted using this hand posture, and it is known to support a deep, meditative, and tranquil inner world. As the thumbs (Mars) come together, the mind is activated and charged in harmony and balance. The right fingers lay gently inside of the left fingers, activating the Physical zodiac, as well as the Divine and Astral realms of visions and a true sense of inner "knowing" of higher spiritual wisdom. It is said to inspire a calm and quiet mind, while opening the heart to a greater transformation and alchemy of Love.

How To Get Into The Mudra:

1. Straighten the spine in a comfortable posture sitting, standing, or laying down.

2. Rub your hands together vigorously.

3. Bring your right fingers flat onto the left fingers, resting one palm into the other in a relaxed manner.

4. Touch thumb tips (Mars) together gently.

5. Relax your shoulders down and away from your ears.

6. Smile, breathe, and hold the mudra here for 3 - 11 minutes. Chanting the healing mantra "RaMaDaSaSaSaySoHung" or breathing a 3-Point Breath (See Below) is wonderful to do while holding any mudra.

This mudra promotes a calm mind that is receptive to nature, angelic guidance, and the power of self-reflection and self-healing. Sit calmly and allow yourself to be free of lower energies while embracing the greatest and highest thoughts and feelings. The visions and inspiring messages that come in become the anchor for blessings to manifest in all areas of life.

3-Point Breath (Optional):

Inhale for a count of 20, Hold the breath for a count of 20, Exhale for a count of 20. Repeat this breath for 3 - 11 minutes to calm the mind and bring balance to the brain.
