Essence Protocol of the Week: The Reproductive System and Impotence...

It's June, and the reproductive system is highlighted all month long. This week, we are looking at plants that help with impotence. Our favorite "go to's" are Black Pepper, Greek Sage, and White Cedar.

Impotence in a man or woman is the inability to achieve an erection or orgasm. Some reasons why men and women suffer from impotence could be abuse, depression, anxiety, stress, relationship problems or other mental health issues. It can also be a result of physical issues like heart dis-ease, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, and smoking. Every body is different, so this can manifest from a variety of issues.

Black Pepper is a fruit that has stories of healing throughout ancient times until today. She has a history of being a powerful plant that has the energy to transform darkness into Light. Black Pepper addresses frigidity, impotence, chi, and circulation. She helps to dispel negative energy and clears darkness, works on the mind, and releases jealousy, resentment, and fear from the aura. This is a powerful plant ally to work with as we move through temporary blocks and issues that get in the way of our flow.

Greek Sage has been used by Ancient Greeks and physicians like Hippocrates for reproductive issues since antiquity. She is amazing in clearing darkness, shifting stagnant energy, bringing us back to ourselves, and enjoying life again. She is wonderful for the entire reproductive system, fertility, impotence, and moon cycle problems. Sage plants are givers who serve from their hearts with Love.

White Cedar is known as the "Tree of Life", so naturally she is a top pick for reproductive health. She is extremely resistant to the environment from which she grows in, so she teaches us how to be strong and break through when the odds are against us. She is wonderful for the prostate, genital disturbances, moon cycle problems, and impotence. Energetically, White Cedar helps with abuse, trauma, boundaries, and the faith we need to trust in the journey ahead. She is known as a "supreme healer" due to her support in clearing the energetic pathway to reconnecting with the spirit.

All three essences help with the mind-body issues related to impotence. It is best to use essences for one month for every year you have had the symptoms that are being treated. In general, for the average adult weight and height, five to ten drops "neat" on the skin is enough to start anointing each essence 2-3 times a day. Always do a test patch on the inner arm to make sure that the essences are not too powerful to anoint "neat" on your skin. If they bring up a healing response, then use the bottoms of the feet to anoint, and meditate on what is coming up and out emotionally for healing. All three of these essences are safe to anoint directly onto the lower abdomen and lower back. These plants work well together, and can help to restore harmony and balance. All essences are safe to ingest in small amounts (3-5 drops in an ounce of water). Use your intuition to guide the way, and remember that less is always more.
