It is the month of July, and we are focusing on the Endocrine System. This system of the body is made up of glands that are in charge of our hormones. These hormones get released into our bloodstream and travels to the cells and other parts of the body in order to cary information from one group of cells to another group of cells.
This week, we are focusing on balancing our male and female hormones to achieve mental, emotional, and physical harmony. Testosterone, Estrogen, and Progesterone are just a few of the major hormones that affect our reproductive health. Just a small amount of too much or too little of any one hormone can throw the entire body off, causing dis-eases and chaos in one's life. Our favorite essences to address imbalances in our male and female hormones are Clary Sage, Ravensara Aromatica, and Rosemary.
Clary Sage is an herbaceous perennial shrub that attracts pollinators, which is a sign of her effect on fertility. She is known to help support estrogen balance that can affect a woman's moon cycle, menopausal symptoms, PMS, and other related issues. Clary Sage is a hormone balancer that helps with impotence, and tones the uterus. She helps both women and men, and is a powerful ally for post-natal depression, emotional pain, rigid ideas, and fears. Clary Sage brings "clarity" to see the Truth and bring harmony to all areas of the being.
Ravensara Aromatica is an evergreen tree known as the "cure all" for the people in Madagascar, and the "oil that heals" because of her strength as an anti-viral medicine. In the reproductive world, Ravensara Aromatica is a hormone stimulant, moon cycle promoter and regulator, and PMS balancer. She helps with labor, delivery, and lactation, as well as menopause. Her uplifting frequency helps to repair the energy field and resolve personal shadow issues in order to feel more harmonious and at one with all beings.
Rosemary is another wonderful perennial herb that helps to ward off evil spirits and balance hormones. She helps to heal the heart and detox estrogens in the liver, which is great for fibroids, heavy periods, PMS, and endometriosis. Rosemary supports healthy ovaries and testicles, and is said to stimulate uterine contractions during pregnancy while relieving menstrual cramps for non-pregnant women. She can also help to stimulate hair growth during the time when testosterone triggers hair loss in men. Energetically, Rosemary helps to address negativity, depression, anger, and sorrow. She is great for the aura and helps to clear bad memories and darkness, allowing one to grow from their past, speak their Truth, and live their dream.
All three essences help with the mind-body issues related to hormonal imbalances. It is best to use essences for one month for every year you have had the symptoms that are being treated. In general, for the average adult weight and height, five to ten drops "neat" on the skin is enough to start anointing each essence 2-3 times a day. Always do a test patch on the inner arm to make sure that the essences are not too powerful to anoint "neat" on your skin. If they bring up a healing response, then use the bottoms of the feet to anoint, and meditate on what is coming up and out emotionally for healing. All three of these essences are safe to anoint directly onto the lower belly area of the body, the lower back, and on the wrists and neck to get closer to the major veins and arteries. These plants work well together, and can help to restore harmony and balance. All essences are safe to ingest in small amounts (3-5 drops in an ounce of water is a good start). Use your intuition to guide the way, and remember that less is always more in most cases.
