Aromatherapy Share: Essences To Help One Cultivate Confidence, Self-Understanding, and Inner Strength...

Inner confidence, self-understanding, and inner strength are the magical superpowers that help us become our best and highest self. If there are setbacks, challenges, or situations that get in the way, these attributes kick in and help to elevate our ability to prevail. Confidence is known to increase happiness, motivation, and success. We can only have confidence when we truly know ourselves. Inner knowing builds inner strength. These three characteristics are intertwined and connected to one another in many ways, and when they are balanced, they can create long-lasting joy and happiness. Three essences we work with to help cultivate more self-confidence, understanding, and inner strength are Cilantro Leaf, Tarragon, and Red Thyme.

Cilantro Leaf is an annual herb plant that has been cultivated since the Neolithic and Early Bronze Ages. This ancient herb is a powerful source of Vitamin C, calcium, magnesium, potassium, and iron. Cilantro Leaf is a pain reliever that is anti-viral, anti-fungal, and anti-infection. She helps one get in deeper touch with oneself through self-understanding and a limitless mindset. Cilantro Leaf is an anti-depressant, that helps one manage stress, fear, and anxiety, while shifting perspectives in order to see the bigger picture. She helps us by working with the higher realms for greater understanding, while staying grounded and connected to the Earth Mother for inner strength.

Tarragon is a perennial shrub that has been recorded to be used by ancient Chinese, Greeks, and Europeans, and is rich in Vitamin C, A, and B-complex. In Latin, Tarragon means "Little Dragon", and is named so because of the roots that wind around and look like the Dragon's tail. Tarragon is anti-viral, and strengthens the body, the nerves, and the reproductive system. Energetically, Tarragon brings strength to our emotional imbalances. She helps us bring awareness to our self-sabotaging behaviors in order to step into our personal powers and the pathway to our greatest dreams. Tarragon helps us feel secure enough to stop having to be a people pleaser, but strong enough to cultivate inner power by destroying fears and clearing the past abuses that we may have endured.

Red Thyme is a drought-tolerant shrub that has been used in rituals and in temples since ancient civilization. She was known in Ancient Greek and Roman mythology to be a symbol of courage, strength, power, and sacrifice. Red Thyme is anti-fungal, anti-parasitic, and anti-septic. She is a wonderful medicine for building strength, mental and spiritual understanding, and the ability to face any challenge with confidence and clarity. Red Thyme will support building up one's courage in order to follow the destiny that was always meant to be lived.

When anointing "neat" onto the skin, always do a test patch on the inner arm to see how you respond to the plant. For these essences, 5-10 drops of Cilantro Leaf can be anointed over the heart, 5-10 drops of Tarragon can be anointed onto the bottoms of the feet (she is HOT), and 5-10 drops of Red Thyme can be anointed onto the solar plexus. This protocol can be repeated 2-3 times per day, and the anointing locations may change over time, if needed. After 40 to 120 days, check in with yourself to see the progress. Keeping a journal either written or orally can help to bring perspective to one's own path toward a more confident and strong sense of self-understanding and self-Love.
